2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: It is an idea for the [Elftown Graphic/Building Competitions]"Everybody has a house here at Elftown, and some members have even this phrase:"Welcome to my House", but how do these houses look like? So, this is my suggestion: An ET competition about "How does your House look like?" Is it little house, What is it made from, shape, castle, Big, small?

2006-03-31 [Charybdis]: Isn't there a contest like that already? *checks* Elftown House Contest, being run by [Chrilith of Akhai] :/ What about the idea you had, a half-bloods contest? That could attract some interesting entries, I'm guessing :)

2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: I think so but I saw Urmando had put it up under the competition ideas place and thought we could always try it out. ^^ We may host the contest at a later date than what Chrilith is, and I think its a good idea for a competition. Of course those who've eneterd that competitino can always use the same entry for this one...

2006-03-31 [Lady of Lore]: though it may be fun to come up with several different ideas of our houses and they don't necisarily have to be in trees. I'd be interested to see ones under water, in caves, or other really creative places ^^

2006-03-31 [dayah]: I got another one, only because my husband was being his normal funny self, made me think of one about druken faieries. like what would they do if they got drunk. he said something like " there she goes again, taking her petles off once more..." lol not as funny when I say it...

2006-03-31 [Charybdis]: Tell him he's awesome xD Hmm... other ideas... we could probably recycle older ideas and add twists or require that the entries not have been part of previous contests to ensure that we get new material. Like another create-a-fantasy-race contest, or a familiars contest, or an odd version of the classic elements contests. Or maybe one that asks for people to depict creatures that live in the darkest depths of the ocean? Lots of strange stuff down there, surely we'd get some weird and wonderful creations :P

I've a quite a few of those lying around since I've been working on a novel of my own I've always wanted to give life to some of my creatures that only exist in words ^^. Post up as many ideas as you like! We can always sectin them off when we get a lot and move them around as needs be.
